Coachella Outfit Inspirations

Posted on April 3, 2017

Happy Monday, guys! I can’t believe it’s already April of 2017! Can you? This year is going by so fast and already a bunch of good, bad and everything in between has happened. The year is not even halfway through but I’m already curious to see how it’s going to unfold… April is a particular special month for me because it’s my birthday month. Not only that, but it’s also Easter and Coachella! I’m bummed that Beyonce won’t be performing this year but I guess her twins comes first. (LOL)

I wanted to share some Coachella outfit inspirations with all of you. If you’re anything like me, it’s all about planning the outfits. The minor details like the tickets, where I’m staying, blah, blah, blah… can all be sorted out last-minute, but the outfits have to be just right.

A few things that are important to me when it comes to my outfits for Coachella:

  • Closed toe, comfy shoes are a must. If you’ve ever been to the desert for the event, it’s SOOOO dusty and you walk, a lot. The ground can really gross especially later in the weekend when people spill drinks on the ground. So I’ll wear these booties most of the weekend because their super comfortable and gives me a bit of height which is an added plus. The Newbury booties are from Rag and Bone and they are seriously the most comfortable pair of booties I own.
  • Bohemian chic with a twist of girlie glam is my style. So you’ll see a bit of flare and glam at the same time.
  • Sunnies, hats and sunblock are a must. I avoid the sun on my face as much as I can so I’m always on the look out for stylish hats. My first year at Coachella, I only wore sunblock on my face and my shoulders got so burned!
  • Showing some skin is perfectly acceptable and a must!

This dress is vintage M Missoni and it’s so bohemian glam. LOVE . LOVE. LOVE. I wear my black SPANX shorts underneath the dress in case I have to bend over or sit on the grass. While this dress is no longer available, I’ve linked some similar. I pair the dress with my Newbury booties from Rag and Bone and Express wide brim hat. The hat is no longer available but linked some similar. My GF has the black from Rag and Bone hat in black and she’s had it for years. She gets it dry cleaned and it’s good as new. It’s a bit pricey, but worth the investment as it holds up well.

Showing some skin on this look. (just don’t forget to wear sunblock) I love these pair of bikini top from Frankie’s. I wear it with everything during the summer months. It’s so sexy, chic and comfortable. I’ll wear it with high waisted shorts, leggings or skirts. I paired the bikini top with these vintage shorts from JollyChic.com. It’s no longer in stock, but linked a similar two piece that is so cute that I’m contemplating getting this as well! Perfect for Coachella and any beach vacay’s. And topping the outfit with a Short Brim Sun Fedora and Chanel bag. Small cross body bags are a must!

I’ll share some more Coachella outfit inspo’s as we get closer to the date. But it’s Monday and I need to finish up last minute work before I head out to watch the March Madness Final for men’s basketball. I’m super bummed the Wildcats lost but definitely cheering on the underdogs, Gonzaga.
